Albion Platform

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Albion Platform ("the application") is provided by Markley IT Consultancy & Secure Storage ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the application and how it is used.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address and authentication details, managed via Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email address associated with your Google account.
  • Business data you enter — business details, customers, suppliers, products, invoices, payments and expenses you create while using the application.
  • Session cookies — used to keep you signed in, remember your selected business, and manage session timeouts. See our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Sign-in activity — when you sign in or attempt to, we record the time, whether it succeeded, and the IP address the request came from, to protect your account against unauthorised access such as brute-force attempts. You can review this yourself under Settings → Security.

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to provide the invoicing and business-management features of the application: authenticating you, storing the business records you create, and generating the documents you request. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored, and who else processes it

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the application. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf, only processes information as needed to provide their service, and does not use it for their own purposes:

  • Supabase — our database, authentication and file-storage provider. Holds all application data described above.
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails the application sends on your behalf (for example, invoices and statements you choose to email to your customers).
  • Netlify — hosts the application and may keep short-lived technical logs (e.g. request metadata) for security and reliability.

If you enter data about your own customers or suppliers

Albion Platform is a business tool: many of the records you create (customers, suppliers, invoices) contain personal data about your customers and suppliers, not you. In UK/EU data protection terms, you are the data controller for that information — you decide what to collect and why, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and use it. We act only as your data processor: we store and process it solely to provide the application's features, following your instructions (i.e. the actions you take in the app), and we do not use it for any purpose of our own. If you need a data processing agreement to meet your own compliance obligations, contact us using the details below.

Analytics

This application does not currently use any analytics or tracking service. No usage data is collected beyond what is necessary to operate the application (for example, server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability).

Data retention and deletion

Your business data is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact us to make a request.

Accepting this policy

When you sign in, you're asked to confirm you accept this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use and our Cookie Policy. We record which version you accepted and when. If we make material changes, you'll be asked to accept the updated version before continuing to use the application.
